Reading: Proverbs

Lesson Objectives: To understand how proverbs are used when reading.

Match the Proverbs:

 1.    It's raining cats and dogs.

a.     It isn't fair.

2.     I only see him once in a blue moon.

b.     Watch him carefully.

3.     I gave him a piece of my mind.

c.     He disappointed me.

4.     Half a loaf is better than no bread.
